A restaurant's own website and Google: why you need one if you already have Instagram

Instagram is great for showing the atmosphere and new dishes. But when someone types “pizza delivery Yerevan” or your restaurant's name into Google, they want to find the menu, prices, address and a way to order, fast. An Instagram page isn't made for that, and people who aren't logged in often can't see it properly.
What your site should have
- The menu as text, not a picture. Google reads text; a photo of a menu is almost empty to it.
- Prices, kept up to date.
- Address, map, opening hours, phone.
- An order or booking button, so visitors can act straight away.
- Fast loading on phones: most visitors come from a phone.
Helping Google
- Fill in your Google Business Profile (your Google Maps listing): address, hours, photos, and a link to your site.
- Put the link to your site in your Instagram bio, on Facebook and anywhere else you're listed.
- Use the same name, address and phone number everywhere.
- Be patient: Google usually finds a new site within a few days to a few weeks.
Your own domain
An address like yourrestaurant.am is easy to remember and builds trust. But it isn't required: your site can show up on Google with the platform's address too.
With TableTap
On TableTap every restaurant gets its own site with the menu, ordering, bookings, address and map, in three languages. If you like, it can be connected to your own domain and opened to Google. Send a request and we'll tell you more.
